This is a gesture towards a proof of concept for the as-yet-to-be-produced production of CROWN! POPPEA! a music-video-electronic-sample-remix-opera (after Monteverdi). The sketch compositions in this video are by Ted Hearne who would be the composer of the new work, performed by Eliza Bagg featured here as Poppea and Tomás Cruz as Nerone. This video includes a second scene which is integrated in live performance as Poppea in the video sings to the countertenor on stage who sings Otho. This piece was shown at Prelude ‘19 RIOTOUS EXCURSIONS.
